Shea is a Nationally Board Certified Physician Assistant with experience in both the outpatient and inpatient setting. Prior to joining the TCSIG Wellness Center, Shea worked as a PA-C in Neurosurgery with a focus on spine surgery.
Shea completed her Masters of Health Services Physician Assistant studies degree at the University of California, Davis. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and in the A4M Functional Medicine Fellowship. While at UC Davis she trained under some of the nation’s top ranked physicians in internal medicine, ENT, orthopedics, and urology.
Shea’s philosophy of care centers on treating each patient as a whole person with a collection of influences on their health, not just their current aliment. She strives to assess how their lives are impacted by their health concerns so that she can provide comprehensive medical care to treat their body, mind and soul. She ultimately seeks to keep her patients healthy rather than just treating them when they are sick.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, yoga, running, walking her dog, and traveling.
