Dr. Chris Campbell, DO ABAARM FMNM


Dr. Christopher Campbell is the Chief ​Medical Officer for TCSIG and Supervising ​Physician for Acorn Health Group’s ​Wellness Center. He is also the Preferred ​Provider selected by TCSIG to solve your ​most pressing health problems at Best ​Life Medical Center.


Dr. Chris Campbell has over 27 years ​experience and provides comprehensive ​care using a Functional Medicine ​approach. Functional Medicine is a ​systems biology-based approach that ​focuses on identifying and addressing the ​root cause of disease.

Shea is a Nationally Board Certified Physician Assistant with ​experience in both the outpatient and inpatient setting. Prior ​to joining the TCSIG Wellness Center, Shea worked as a PA-C ​in Neurosurgery with a focus on spine surgery.


Shea completed her Masters of Health Services Physician ​Assistant studies degree at the University of California, Davis. ​She is certified by the National Commission on Certification ​of Physician Assistants, is a member of the American ​Academy of Physician Assistants, and in the A4M Functional ​Medicine Fellowship. While at UC Davis she trained under ​some of the nation’s top ranked physicians in internal ​medicine, ENT, orthopedics, and urology.


Shea’s philosophy of care centers on treating each patient as ​a whole person with a collection of influences on their health, ​not just their current aliment. She strives to assess how their ​lives are impacted by their health concerns so that she can ​provide comprehensive medical care to treat their body, mind ​and soul. She ultimately seeks to keep her patients healthy ​rather than just treating them when they are sick.


In her free time, she enjoys hiking, yoga, running, walking her ​dog, and traveling.

Shea Smith, PA-C, MHS

Navi

Navjeet is a Nationally Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with a ​passion for creating access to healthcare. She balances the science ​of medicine with her desire to provide care for others. Her focus on ​diagnosis and treatment of disease for adults of all ages is ​fundamental to her medical practice.


Navjeet provides in-depth attention to each patient's condition and ​uses that knowledge to get to the root cause of the disease or ​health concern. Her approach to medicine is patient centered, built ​on caring for the individual over many years and understanding the ​context of their family. Navjeet's philosophy is to focus on food and ​lifestyle as part of a treatment plan for health maintenance.


Navjeet completed her master of science in nursing and family ​nurse practotioner degree at Samuel Merritt University. She is ​certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.


Navjeet is from Yuba City and feels privileged to be working in her ​hometown and provide care for her community. Navjeet is fluent in ​English and Punjabi.


Outside of the office, Navjeet enjoys reading, learning, travel and ​time with family and friends.


Navjeet Cheema, FNP-BC

Maqsud Dean, MS, PA-C, brings 20 years of experience across family ​practice, urgent care, cardiology, hospital medicine, pediatrics, women’s ​health, weight loss, and public health/indigent care. He is also a certified ​CrossFit Trainer.


Maqsud earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and a Master ​of Science in Exercise Physiology and Cardiopulmonary Pathophysiology ​from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. He ​completed his Physician Assistant certification at UC Davis School of ​Medicine.


A dedicated educator, Maqsud was a faculty member at the UC Davis ​FNP/PA Program, earning Teacher of the Year in 2003, and received the ​Faculty Development Award at the University of Washington School of ​Medicine.


Maqsud's commitment to global health is evident from his work with the ​International Medical Corps, providing earthquake relief in Kashmir, ​Pakistan.

Dee Petersen, PA-C

We are thrilled to welcome Dee Petersen, PA-C, to our team! ​Dee brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for ​compassionate care to our practice. She earned her ​undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of ​Mississippi and recently completed her Master’s in Physician ​Assistant Studies from Samuel Merritt University.


Dee has a strong background in diabetes care and was the first ​PA student to be chosen as an Albert Schweitzer Fellow in the ​Bay Area. Her impactful service project involved pairing senior ​citizens with senior shelter animals to enhance the health and ​wellness of both.


Outside of her professional life, Dee enjoys a variety of ​activities, including gardening, cooking, skiing, and traveling to ​different beaches. She is also dedicated to her dogs and ​actively fosters senior and special needs animals awaiting new ​homes.



We are thrilled to have Yolanda Moore as our virtual ​medicine clinician. With 17 years of experience, she holds a ​medical license from California and is certified by the ​National Commission on Certification of PAs.


Yolanda earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from CSU, ​Sacramento, and a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant ​Studies from Marquette University. While her career has been ​primarily in Family and Emergency Medicine, she developed a ​passion for skin care and aesthetics during her plastic surgery ​rotation.


Balancing her professional life with being a wife and mother ​of three, Yolanda values self-care for mental and physical ​well-being. Recently, she has focused on medical aesthetics ​and ethnic skin care.


Yolanda is a proud member of the California Academy of PAs, ​the American Academy of PAs, and the American Med Spa ​Association. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, camping, ​and spending time with family and friends.

Madeline completed her master of health services physician ​assistant studies degree at the University of California, Davis. ​She is certified by the National Commission on Certification ​of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American ​Academy of Physician Assistants, the Association of ​Physician Assistants in Obstetrics and Gynecology and the ​California Academy of Physician Assistants, and is an Adjunct ​Professor for Walden University.


Madeline is inspired to improve access to health care for ​women of all ages and socio-economic levels. She focuses on ​helping her patients to live their best lives by providing ​exceptional care and educating them on healthy lifestyle ​choices.


Outside of the office, Madeline enjoys swimming, hiking, ​board games and exploring new restaurants.
